Liquid Light Portraits is a modern, contemporary photographic studio, celebrating your family, creating stunning wall art that transforms your house into your home!

At Liquid Light Portraits it’s all about being fresh and relevant in todays ever-changing world. I believe in simply stunning candid portraiture and creative beautiful studio portraits. Its not just about the ‘WOW’, it’s about you, your baby, your family. I love capturing your newborn, his/her milestones and what you love doing as a family. Where do you love to go…. being at home reading a book, spending the day at the markets or beach. Alternatively your portrait session can be in a relaxed studio setting?.
What’s your story?

Our aim at Liquid Light Portraits is ensure your have the best experience before, during and after your portrait session. I will start with an initial phone call, by doing so I can tailor your portrait session so you get what you want to see in your images. I will then guide you through your design appointment of your lightly edited images so we can create your desired Canvas, album etc, Your favourite images will be retouched and I will then contact you as soon as your custom ART pieces have arrived for you to collect.

Please note most families spend somewhere between $995 to $3500 and are very happy with their choices.

Step 1. Booking

To book your session phone our studio any day between Monday – Saturday. Mornings are best for Newborns/babies so there’s no rush and we can spend more time with you and your little one. Friday & Saturday afternoons are ideal for families and are very popular. Please consider your families working schedules and the sleep/feed times if there are newborns and toddlers in your family.

Full payment of your chosen portrait session is require at the time of Booking your session. Once payment has been received you will be emailed confirmation of payment and a Booking Letter + Studio Policies and Contracts.

All appointments on Saturdays will require a $50 deposit at the time of the booking. The $50 will be credited towards your order and is non refundable.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL FAMILY MEMBERS MUST ATTEND THE SHOOT TO VALIDATE A GIFT CERTIFICATE.

Step 2. Things To Consider

Now that you’re here I recommend you take a look through my website and galleries so you know what to expect from your portrait session before you arrive.

Prior to your shoot you will receive a portrait session survey via email/txt which will only take a few minutes to fill out.

A few things to consider….what type of photography do you like ( Colour or BW), where would you like to be photographed (Location or Studio), what should I wear…I get this all the time…simply where what you love, do you like canvas, prints or albums and where in your home would you like to display your images?

Step 3. Your Portrait Session

This is when the real fun happens. You will have my undivided attention. During this time we will have a whole lot of fun and get a variety of shots to ensure we get the images that capture your families personality. Your portrait session will take about 1-2hrs depending on the type of session you have in mind eg newborn, cakesmash, family (maybe a bit longer if it is newborn session).

Newborns…I have wraps and blankets, headbands & hats, bowls & buckets so all you need to bring is you and your new little one as I will take my utmost care with your baby while you relax and admire your sweet child. There will also be feeding and snuggle breaks. If you wish to have some family portraits during the session I can do that as well. Maybe ask your parents if they would like to be involved….imagine passing these photos onto your kids once they are older, what a gift!

Cakesmashes…are insanely fun! I tend to make it all about bub and the cake, so its a very simple setup…every bub is different. Its a bit like bubs first Santa photos in away..some go for it, others may take awhile to warm up. Definitely a must have to show at their 18th!

Families…I have found it best to choose a place that has real meaning and is special to you as a family, this may be the family home or a unspoilt spot you just love to take the kids to. There will also be short breaks for a quick drink, snack and snuggles for the little ones. You are creating a family legacy ‘now’ for your kids to look back on for generations to come!

Step 4. Your Design Appointment

About a week later you will be invited back for a design appointment. It is here that the magic happens. I will help you every step of the way. It starts with a custom slide show from which you will choose your favourite images. From the images you have chosen I will begin to design a package that meets your needs, creating gorgeous wall art and original pieces for you to treasure for a lifetime.

All that is left for you to do, is choose the pieces you love and choose a payment option that suits your budget. All of your artwork comes finished and ready for display, with a range of products to suit everyone’s style.

Wall Art and prints start from $250 and our Wall Art Collections range from $960 to $1990 which can be purchased for as little as $15 per week with PayRight.

Step 5. Collect Your Art

Your finished wall art and albums will be ready to be collected from the studio approximately 4-6 weeks after your design appointment. The artwork is made with the highest quality products available to the photography industry and most come with a lifetime guarantee on craftsmanship.

As soon as the images are ready to be collected you will be contacted to arrange a time to collect your artwork.

Step 6. Display Your Art

I love creating amazing images for you and your family. The artwork looks amazing at our studio but it looks even better when it’s displayed in your own home!
